WHY IT MATTERS Why connect billing to delivery? When payments and access are managed separately, someone always gets access they didn't pay for, or loses access they did. Access matches paymentWhat a client can see follows their plan, from the moment they pay to the day it ends. Renewals without chasingRecurring payments and reminders mean fewer renewal messages to send by hand. Invoices on every paymentGST invoices are generated automatically, with your own numbering. Flexible offersTrials, coupons and manual plans let you run launches and special cases without workarounds. How subscription billing worksStep 1 Create a planSet the price, duration and what the plan includes: calls, channels, portfolios or courses. Step 2 Client paysThe client pays through your gateway, with a coupon or trial if you offer one. Step 3 Access startsThe client gets access to everything in the plan, and the invoice is generated. Step 4 Renew or changeRenewals, pauses, extensions and cancellations update access automatically. |
Who needs subscription billing built for advisers?
Any research analyst or adviser who sells monthly, quarterly or yearly plans needs payments, renewals and invoices to line up with what each client can access. Generic payment links handle the money but not the access, which is where most billing problems in advisory businesses start.
Fees, invoices and SEBI
SEBI sets rules on how research analysts and investment advisers charge clients, including limits for individual clients and the payment channels allowed, and GST applies to advisory fees. Check the current rules for your registration. Finuro records every payment with an invoice, so your fee history is complete and easy to reconcile.
How billing works inside Finuro
Products and plans
Each product has tabs for overview, plans and access, onboarding, coupons, settings and SEO. Plans set the price and duration and what the client gets: recommendations, channels, model portfolios, courses or locked content.
Payment gateways and recurring payments
Connect Razorpay, Cashfree or HDFC as your gateway. Turn on recurring payments for automatic renewals, or let clients renew manually.
GST invoices
Checkout shows the GST breakdown, and each payment gets an invoice with your firm name, GST number, invoice prefix, terms, notes and logo.
Free trials and coupons
Set a free trial length in days. Coupons can be a percentage or a flat amount with a maximum discount, minimum and maximum order values, start and end dates, total and per-user limits, and eligibility for all customers, new customers only or specific customers. A coupon can apply to subscriptions, courses, bookings or exclusive content, or to one product.
Changing a subscription
Pause, resume, extend or cancel a subscription, or add one manually after an offline payment. Clients can cancel themselves, with a clear warning that access ends immediately.
Payouts and revenue split
If revenue is shared, for example with a partner, split payouts through Cashfree Easy Split vendors or payout beneficiaries, or record the split manually.
Finuro compared with payment links
| Need | Payment links | With Finuro |
|---|---|---|

| Renewals | Reminders and new links | Recurring payments |
| Invoices | Made separately | Generated with GST on every payment |
| Discounts and trials | Manual adjustments | Coupons and trials with limits |
Common use cases
Launching a new plan
Create the plan, add a seven-day free trial and a launch coupon limited to new customers, and attach your Telegram group so access starts after payment.
Handling an offline payment
A client pays by bank transfer; you create a manual subscription so their access and invoice are in the same system as online payments.
A client travelling for a month
Pause their subscription and resume it when they return, instead of cancelling and re-onboarding.
